Each year, LSU Law School holds a Trial Advocacy Program for incoming seniors. Lee H. Ayres is both privileged and honored to serve on the faculty alongside some of the finest and most accomplished trial lawyers and judges in Louisiana. Over three days, the faculty teaches aspiring law students in a “learn by doing” program. The program covers many facets of trial advocacy including taking and defending depositions, direct and cross-examinations of witnesses, arguing motions in front of judges, and even conducting an entire trial. The LSU Trial Advocacy Program is a wonderful opportunity for the students, and Lee has been very privileged to have served on its faculty for many years including 2026.
